I love the wild hunt! I'm not sure what to do with Kai yet but I have some ideas.

being hunted again after he thought he found a place that accepted him is going to hit Kai hard

he will become suspicious of everyone and bitterly revert back to survival mode. Unfortunately he doesn't have a lot of strong CR that he go out of his way to protect so he will mostly be fending for himself. If sees someone else in danger he may try to help, but it depends on the risk

he may be more inclined to help those who have been kind and accepting to him though

assist or die is an interesting dilemma for him. On the one hand he will be desperate to survive. On the other hunting others like he has been hunted will not sit well with him. It will be a struggle between his magical nature and his humanity.

with the current hunted mindset his magical side would probably win, with Kai telling himself that he can try to trick the fae. Bending the rules is his thing after all. Unfortunately that doesn't apply to fae deals.

he will hate hunting his fellow adopted and lean entirely into his magical side to try to distance himself from the killing. Enjoy Kai's full mage mode!

he can resonate with the emotions of the dead to channel his magic into different elements, and when his consciousness is fully on his magical side he sees and feels the world differently, allowing him to ignore the pain and fatigue of his physical body.

there are also some possible fun options with Kai as a ghost so let me know if anyone wants to kill Kai!

He's a powerful mage but due to having to hide his magic all his life, he's not very skilled at fighting with magic. He's gotten by the last couple fights with the dragon and hydra because he had help. In a duel the lack of balance between fighting and magic would be more noticeable.

Kai will become incredibly paranoid around anyone he kills now that they know how dangerous his magic is. Most people have only seen the beautiful side of Kai's magic, not the wild nature that's caged inside him.

Just trying to think about how to engage with the event dghdhfbd Jade wouldn't join the hunt but she's not above killing when she goes into survival mode

hmm how does Jade's connection to the dead work? Could she interact with the ghost adopted maybe?

I'm struggling with Kai too since it would be very easy for him to switch to survival mode and just fend for himself.

I'm struggling with Kai in general lately and may be considering dropping him and trying a different OC, but I want to see how this event goes first before making a decision.

I feel like Jade probably could connect with an Adopted? Like as a high level Phasmalist she's pretty connected to her ghosties

So actually I think that could be a fun mechanic to play with for the event with the ghost'd characters
