A presidential library isn't like a normal library. It's a collection of papers written by and about the president. For Trump, it's an ego thing, a museum all about him.

Expanding on the presidential library thing as a former archivist: in theory a PL is primarily an archives for the records of the presidential office following the end of that president’s term. In practice they include that but are arguably primarily shrines to past presidents, typically featuring a public museum re: his life and presidential career
Exception being the Nixon library, which was created outside of Nixon’s personal control after he attempted to retain personal ownership/control of his papers.
Prior to Nixon, transferring presidential records to a publicly available library was a voluntary process done on the honor system; making those records available is now a requirement but they can exercise control over the where and how
Those allegations are of serious domestic abuse, but Johnson doesn’t care about that. He’s too busy blaming Democrats for the government shutdown while also not calling the House into session.
Yeah protecting data centers! that destroy the water table in a state that is know for droughts and wild fries, he's got to protect his biggest donors though. Luckily we have three years and don't have to run him for president he's such a republican trash bag

nice of the alt-right commenters to help out by being like "obviously this is great, but it's so surreal coming openly from official sources, back in my day you had to be quiet about it" just in case anyone thought that was leftwing exaggeration
the student loan limit changes really suck. I am going to recommend that people considering higher education consider tuition reimbursement/vouchers offered by an employer. quite a few offer this benefit
After decades of research and rising hope, a potential cure for feline chronic kidney disease (CKD) is finally within reach. The long-anticipated AIM injection drug—designed to restore the kidney’s natural cleaning mechanism—is set to enter clinical trials in April 2025, with completion targeted before year-end.
the tl;dr is that most cats pass due to kidney issues. There's a protein that a lot of animals have that works to clean kidneys and such. Cats have it too, but it's inactive. They think that by activating that protein within a cat's body, they can get it to work on their kidneys the way it does for humans and other animals.
Please. I had to let go of my little old lady because of kidney failure. I know them passing is inevitable, but it broke my heart to see her just degrade so quickly. I don't want that to happen to my cats again.
They think that, if they can make it work for kidneys, they can also figure out how to make treatments for fatty liver, liver cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, urinary stones, and a bunch of neurological diseases.
It's probably a good ways off from being ready for humans, they're predicting it won't be launched for felines until 2027, but... Well. It's already been tested on mice and there's been improvements seen in mice who have had strokes.
Oh, I missed this part. A drug using the same protein is also being developed for human use, and they're guessing it's about a year behind the feline drug.
for years 18 has been the age parents were told they could legally kick their kids out, and i have known people who proudly declared they would do just that
they're still young, of course, and there are some things they are not yet old enough for till sometime in their 20s (drinking alcohol, renting cars, etc), but 18yos are definitely legal adults.
the senior class of high schools always has most of its students either be or become legal adults during the school year, depending on birthdays and whether anyone was put into school early/skipped grades

: I would argue though in a country that sends 14 year olds to prison and parents can sign wavers for 16 year olds to go war, probably not the best standard, for what an adult is.
Also if you can still be called a teenager you're not an adult. But I am also of the mindset that you shouldn't be able to join active duty military until you're 21.
but if your in your teens and that edge lord age range still I'm going to side eye being an adult. HOWEVER you are still accountable for your words and actions once you are an older teen.
