I have been thinking about matters of ego so much as of late

I've been watching i7 with friends on discord and I went on a whole long spiel abt how Riku has the ideal amount of ego for an idol protag bc he is sweet and full of love enough to be likable and charismatic even to an idol fan crowd and also you can tell he has the absolute Needs to be Special in the way a person who wants to be a celebrity kinda needs

and also thinking about how I probably like Shen Yuan so much bc so much of his whole character and arc is defined around ego and shame
