yeah I imagine UPS is paying tariffs/customs to get things to the destination, then the recipient is going 'what no' and not paying for it, leading to a loss, because I don't think UPS gets that back if they have to send the package back (if they even can)

yeah according to reddit things in UPS have gotten real fucked. lots of packages getting destroyed because they just can't process them

also people can refuse to pay the exhorbitant tariffs but they can get turned over to collections so that's an issue too
