[RL/Medical bullshit] got my test results back

on the good side the cyst on my left ovary seems to have shrunk by .1 cm since my cat scan 3 weeks ago and while it is complex they do not suspect it wont go away on their own.

but.

there is evidence of multiple hemoragged cysts on my right ovary and I am going to need to book multiple followups with a gyno as well as get quarterly pelvis ultrasounds for at least the next year.

I still havent had anyone go over these results with me, this is what I have gathered based on the report but the two suggested actions are 'take pain meds' and 'see specialist about surgical options' so

this might explain why periods suck and also why I have been having incredibly irregular periods even after I stopped taking T 3 years ago.

I want to get back on it. covid just wasnt the time to do so and my PCP is still MIA so I also need a new one.

I have nexplanon in my arm and that shouldnt be causing any of this but. a lot of my symptoms are explained by the evidence of a history of cysts that ruptured.

honestly my hope is that this sets me on a path to get a hysterectomy but I am also concerned about potentially switching insurance in the middle of figuring all this out...

since we renew in December.

in any case ive been quiet because ive been trying to quietly not freak out about this shit and now that I have some answers but not enough I cant tell if its better or worse?

the test had a BIG BOLD "ABNORMAL" IN RED posted on it.
