I'm going to rewatch Scream 2, which is the last rewatch that I have planned for October. (I might rewatch John Carpenter's The Thing, but I'll see how the month goes)

I find it weird that the menu is set up like this, but selecting any movie other than the specific one gives the message "change the disc".

The movie theater experience in the opening looks and sounds exhausting.

If killer A is the one out for revenge and killer B is the fame-hungry one, I'm guessing B did most of the kills, with A doing the one in the van. Maybe there will be some cases where A does get some kills/attacks.

Guessing by that "remember me" remark that A attacks Sidney in the sorority house.

I don't recall there being as many red herrings in this one aside from the obvious one, though the two pushy sorority sisters could be suspects.

Killer B was clearly planting the seeds of doubt in Sidney's mind.

Much like the first movie, Dewey is treated like a suspect even though he's as far from a suspect as possible.

Derek is trying to be a supportive boyfriend, but he's doing his best to act suspicious haha.

Not sure what's more awkward - Derek breaking into song or Mickey quoting the movie and year.

I can't believe Tori Spelling is casually spoiling Stab in an interview. (Though I guess it is based on a true story in-universe)

Not sure why Mickey is described as a "freaky Tarantino film student" when he never mentioned a Tarantino movie.

I know nerve damage is mentioned, but it seems like such an odd choice on David Arquette's part to have Dewey run like he has a broken arm and a broken leg.

I'm not sure if this is as good of a whodunnit as the first - one killer disappears from the movie after the dance scene while the other uses a false identity - though I suppose the first movie laid on the suspicion a bit thick, especially for the more serious killer.

Cotton really should have washed his hands.

At least killer A wipes the murder weapon unlike the killers in Scream 1.

Cotton has some seriously skewed priorities haha.

I didn't find it quite as good as the original, though it did well with developing the surviving characters. The music for the ending credits is certainly a choice, though.

I get it's a cover of the song that Derek sang earlier, but the credits music (any of the song choices used in the credits) doesn't fit the tone of the movie AT ALL.
