basically our summer is the "outside weather is not suitable for human life, stay inside and climate control" season, while winter is the "it's beautiful, spend all day outside" season
fall and spring are like two weeks long each, they don't count
yeah, we are getting down to the 40s at night, so our heater has been kicking on...but Sunday is supposed to be 80 again. a last hurrah for summer, I guess.
god I really should look into good smart thermostats... I've heard horror stories about certain brands, but it would be really nice to be able to set the heat to turn on when the temperature drops below a certain point/turn off when it gets above a certain point
Yeah, we just got our entire heating system replaced last year with full climate control, so apparently it's doing it automagically. it wasn't cheap, but as our sixty year old gas heater died, we had to do the whole system anyway.
