I absolutely agree with this, although I admit my country couldn’t relate to the US or other countries that are popular for immigration. The Philippines is not a melting pot and is racially homogeneous which is a good thing because our culture is intact and has never been perverted by illegal immigrants

: Most Americans have no problem with legal migration- probably 95%. But we prefer those joining us who can pay their way and not drain resources for citizens born here. The same as a family would not give away their funds for their children to strangers.

Well said. I believe that immigrants who don't work and just leech off the privileges in the US don't deserve to stay in the country. I personally know a rich person from the Philippines who once moved to the US and pretended to be poor by always eating in a soup kitchen 🙄
