Finished Copper Script!

I really enjoyed it and Joel Wildsmith is going to be living in my head for awhile

But it's definitely... formulaic...

Like, had a lot of beats similar to Slippery Creatures and Will Darling Adventures as a whole

- Everyman unwittingly drawn into a conspiracy
- Couple meet-cutes and ends up in a pub
- 'Can't be seen together'
- Short redhead with tawny eyes (This one is more Charm of Magpies but it bears mentioning)
- Probably just me, but the finale reminded me closely of the finale of Slippery Creatures

Even so I really enjoyed it. The feelings are what I come to Charles for and she delivered so I'm happy

I'm gonna probably read a different author then go back and read the England World stuff since it connects to Will Darling...

I WILL SAY.

Joel being a volunteer stretcher carrier in Flanders made my brain buzz like what if he saved Will??

Sadly dashed as the patient referenced in the book is explained as having kids and writing Christmas cards to Joel, but still
