I would say the alien port is like something that could eventually get touched upon in the current JD&Walter thread but possibly a different angle could emerge if it were revisited after This Bad Weekend They All Had. Vincent S could be very interesting but if I had to make a starter I'd need some time to cook if that makes sense

at one point Walter said the main reason he was so pissed off around Christmastime was because "I was with Pyotr during the cold flood and he wore gloves" so I think Collins would be aware that he was one of if not the most close people to Walter. it doesn't HAVE to come up, just back in the July post "yeah he doesn't realize Pyotr is gone at that moment"

Walter has experienced almost no true floods while he was here. Dreamlands turned out to be a special event. VIP it's harder to immediately explain why it was quite bad (there were several "VIPs of wardens" who were aggressive and destructive). Trial for Sinners, yeah. Shoe Flood, he was coma. April 2025 was 4WD.

I'm going to be honest that I've been unsure that the physical rescue itself will have as big an effect as might be hoped because Walter is dissociating so heavily from a lot of types of violent experiences at this point but the visit will genuinely surprise him
