TBF, it's HARD to do any kind of unusual skin coloration like green, blue, purple, etc. that doesn't make it look uncanny valley rather than deliberate. Since skin isn't just one tone, there's so many that make it up, and unless you get a good talented make-up artist, it just comes off as looking really fake.
