My yearly rant about how much I hate fireworks! especially people who are just randomly setting them off all night. they started tonight at 6:30pm. you can't even see them yet to enjoy them! every time my dogs calm down a bit, off goes another.

Pets, people with anxiety or PTSD, anyone who doesn't like loud sudden noises is suffering this time of year My anxiety and panic attacks are off the charts the past few weeks anyway, and my neighborhood has been setting off fireworks 3 nights in a row. They need better calendars and less dangerous hobbies.

I hate them too when we have bonfire night in the UK. One of my cats used to sit in a window and watch them but the other one, he’d hide away. I’d bury him in a duvet and muffle the sounds for him as much as possible. Only problem was that one year he kept hiding and by the time I realised something was wrong, the cancer had set in. So, fuck fireworks.

Imagine what this shit does to refugees from countries our allies bomb incessantly.
