I hold a strong stance against AI for many reasons and I stand by them. But it is hard to convince people to not do useless things that waste resources and plagiarize and steal jobs when we're living in this hellscape. So atp I'm just like, I'll do me, I'll post my shit. Bahala na what people do w/ that info.

: I agree with everything on the above post. I have come across tons of people who see it like an be-all-end-all appliance and not an optimization tool. I won't say it saves me a ton of time. I still try to vet the result cuz most times accuracy of the output is spotty at best. Most just copy paste the immediate result without a second thought.

: Yeah my worry is that too many people tend to do that last part you said. And the misinfo because they don't fact check! Like taking the AI summary at the top of search results as gospel, eh hindi naman reliable yun.
I do get the optimization aspect! I'd prefer it if we could just slow down and not need it. But andito na tayo eh.
Some schools design their instructions to utilize AI to develop critical thinking. Ie. compare and contrast, AI vs your own work, prompt and criticize, etc. It’s really just adapting.
Callous utilization of AI to replace humans - I gets.
Hate for anyone using AI - you lost me here.
