“This BFF situation has now turned into a soap opera that remains an overhang on Tesla’s stock with investors fearing that the Trump Administration will be more hawkish and show scrutiny around Musk-related US government spending,” said Dan Ives, analyst at Wedbush Securities, in a note to investors Tuesday.
The difficulty it took for Republicans, who have the majority hold in Congress, to wrestle the bill to this point is not expected to let up. Yeah, I saw a thing from a director saying that now that they're no longer hamstrung by having to make things fit on VHS and DVD limits, they're free to make movies as long as they want.
with the extra long movies, I feel like it really depends on the pacing and direction. LOTR Return of the King was 3hr 21min. I watched that in theaters SIX TIMES when it first came out. and Oppenheimer was right around the 3hr mark. very easy to get through. but some other movies over the 2.5hr mark are just a slog fest
i just can't sit through anything that long without needing a bathroom break, if they're going to keep doing this they need to bring back intermissions
