[new work plurk] Oh my godddddd I'm so tired of the same radio station(s). I'd rather we didn't have the radio. If I could smash it with a hammer? Ideal.
someone said they were hired for admin assistant but was forced to do customer service, asked them about the admin position they were hired for, and was promptly fired.
like the insurance company i worked for, got one day of in office training (during covid) then was pretty much ignored when i asked for more remote training, THEN he had the audacity to criticize my work. bro i asked you for help.
i reached out to my supposed coworkers for training, and they seemed like they didn't even know they had a new hire. the manager def didnt mention me during our group meeting either, lmao.
Occasionally there are anomalies, something that might take a fresh pair of eyes to figure out, or actual service calls. But mostly it's basic shit that they're too babied to figure out on their own. I'm embarrassed for them.
They're SUPPOSED to send it to us in the order they want it printed so it's easy to assemble. NOT to send us a jumbled fucking mess of ZIP FILES to sort through and print simultaneously.
Been working on this for almost 3 hours and I'm not even half done. To be fair I'm sneaking in tags to keep my sanity but it's still a big project that no one has offered to help with so why should I try hard? Fuck them.
Saw Butthead coworker leaving the building as I was entering first thing this morning (he starts after me and he's always late), wearing a nice button down shirt. He's like "I'll be back, I have an appointment."
Bro you don't have to tell me your business but the obvious lie is hilarious. An appointment dressed for a job interview. 😂 And then when he came back he was wearing a different shirt.
I just think it'd be nice if we start failing to hit deadlines and teach them a lesson to get their shit together sooner. They shouldn't be so reliant on us constantly bailing them out and making them look good. 🤷🏻
The most petty of pet peeves. This fucking maintenance guy at work insists on standing outside and opening the door for people and I fucking HATE it. So now I sit and wait until he goes in.
Result: crane operator
REALLY
Well, gee, do you think maybe it's OUT OF STAPLES?
