some pots aside to make way for workmen possibly tramping through and found that the most advanced snapdragons were actually growing out from under the pot rather than even between the paving slabs.

moved a pair of them into a (less inhabited) pot to see if they will survive & thrive.

battling butterflies around the buddleia and also some bumblebees busily browsing.

the cat doesn't want to eat the sultanas that I put out on the porch for the birds, so instead it's laying down (in wait?) across them.

perhaps the birds will see the sultanas but not notice the cat.
