medical / irl, bc when it rains it pours

a tooth of mine recently and randomly abscessed despite my flossing twice a day brushing 3x a day bc why not i guess???

and i've been treating it and doing my best with the antibiotics i'm prescribed for my gi condition

but this morning it's like really bad and is like spreading over the top half of my jaw and i'm so stressed i wanna lie down on the asphalt outside and just bake like an egg in the sun

I was advised to put heat on my face because it draws infection out, by a dentist. This can be warm teabags or a heating pad or whatever you have on hand.

and of course, to watch for any spreading red lines or fevers that might indicate it's spreading to the blood, but hopefully if you're taking antibiotics, it wouldn't really do that.

Dental stuff is the absolute worst, im so sorry

this all started bc a dentist absolutely fucked up two root canals

my teeth had always been okay prior to this and whats worse is i can't even sue without another dentist validating this claim and no one will because i live in good ol boy country

ugh

just spoke two different injury claim lawyers and neither of them can help me either

the frustration is palpable

ready to run a smear campaign on facebook

and get them to take me to court for slander

Can you go to urgent care for better antibiotics? That's what I used to do for exactly this because I wasn't willing to see the same dentist who screwed it up

unfortunately if it's the ones you've been taking they're not effective for this
