it looks to me, based on the live update timelines, that trump announced the ceasefire all on his own at first. neither iran nor israel had any comment on it initially. they scrambled because trump ran his mouth. then once the missiles started again, both netanyahu and khamenei are saying "yeah there totally was a ceasefire and THEY broke it not me"

like it's clear some discussion was happening but the fact that it was over two hours between the white house announcing the supposed ceasefire and either party to comment on it (and that comment basically ended up being "well. you first" and was in conflict with khamenei saying he wouldn't surrender) it's just so obvious he bluffed and they scrambled
