Good day for thrift shopping today! This week is the Boutique for Hope, benefitting local cancer charities. I got 3 tops and a pair of capri pants for $16.

One top didn't fit right, so it's passed to my elder child.

But I got a pair of capri pants from Kohl's. The tag was still on them with a price of $40. I got them today (the thrift sale's half off day) for $5. They fit so well I'm seeing if they have the style still in the store.

My younger child got some Brooks Brothers & Ralph Lauren tops that look amazing on him. He almost got a Burberry navy sport coat for $30 but it was too large.

This is what the sale looks like (w/o people). This is one of 3 spaces selling stuff. One has clothing, one has "stuff" like appliances, vases, paintings, dishes, fancy bric-a-brac, and the final one has vintage, formal wear, jewelry, and clothing with tags still attached. (Photo stolen from FB.)
