[work, positive] I have an interview tomorrow! Maybe I can get out of here!

The guy was SUPER nice. And the job seems nicer than this one. PLUS it'd be more money.

Another law firm, but not the same work I'm doing now. And a slightly better schedule.

I need this. I'm fortunate to have a friend who is a lawyer and he can tell me that the shit that happens here is NOT normal.

Good vibes good thoughts. I'm manifesting this shit.

The office location is one I'm familiar with because I've worked in the same building with another company.

Caught the express bus while the paralegal I can't stand gets to have her route canceled for a change. Mwahaha.

Kicked ass at the assessment tests. Come on tho. Typing? Filing? Spelling and grammar? I'm good at that shit!

The interview was as much a prep for the real interview as an actual interview. The guy I talked to is the GOAT.

He asked my preferred name. I get to be Julien. 😭

I'm glad I had an impulsive moment and put "Des Julien" on my resume. It caught the recruiter's attention. I do have to do a proper resume tho and not the one from the job site. (Which was a fair criticism on his part, I get it.)

I'm optimistic. Even if I don't get this gig, he wants to help me. Yeah, because he gets paid if I get hired, but he's still being super nice about it.

A guy at work got a new puppy and I got to see pictures. This is the kind of thing I show up to work for, other than the paycheck.

Well, no dice on that job. It was already offered to someone else, who accept it. But the recruiter (a LOCAL recruiter!) is still going to work with me to find something.

It felt REALLY good to be like "hey this is Julien" so I'm taking that silver lining.

I can pick myself up and keep trying. I'm just a little bummed.

Another silver lining: I revamped my resume and it's fancy now.
