nezumi was on the other side of the rock that crushed obito, so she was presumed dead, just like he was. madara/zetsu (i can’t remember i know they were both there) took obito and nezumi in after finding them. they both saw rin die and nezumi was super upset about it but it hit extra close for her because she was close with kakashi as well
