[RL] It amuses me greatly that my entire therapy session today was explaining to my therapist about the furry fandom and the appeal of being one in VR.

But rewarding to have her come away with the idea that it's really not any stranger than most fandoms or cosplay or whatever.

it really isn't, furries do not deserve their reputation. Glad you had fun at the con!

I did! Definitely planning it out properly to go again next year!

Also being able to explain appreciating NSFW stuff despite being Ace and having her only need a couple of seconds to process my "so long as it's not me and sex" mindset.

I love my therapist so much. I feel like the more I explain to her the things about me that I can't share with others as easily, the more it feels normalized.
