Newest "IT issue" faced by coworker today. She couldn't access the files saved in her desktop folder. Want to guess what the "issue" was?

I'll give the answer in about 5-10 minutes once I finish this task I'm doing (LOL) so get your guesses in quick

Looking in the wrong folder.
Zigzag Stampede
You would think that, but nope!

Document saved to an entirely different folder/drive than where she thought she saved it.
Or she never saved it in the first place.

but it's on her desktop?

She was trying to access it in her email? Or on another computer?

Sorry you're all wrong!
Zigzag Stampede
She couldn't find it because she was trying to use her email to access her file folder
Zigzag Stampede
She was in a panic because she couldn't find her "desktop" folder from the list of folders on the side. (AKA: the folders we move actioned emails into)

Zigzag Stampede
(LOL) darn you plurk hiding responses for a bit there.
Zigzag Stampede
But she just kept saying: the folder is gone!!! The folder is gone!!!!

Over and over so this took me nearly 5-10 minutes to understand her actual problem. Then I was able to show her that she was in her emails and not the file folders
Zigzag Stampede
I tried to prompt her to give me more information by asking which email she wanted to move into a folder. Thinking that might at least tell me which folder was "missing" (as at first I was guessing it was a subfolder issue)
Zigzag Stampede
Then she said: no, no. I'm not moving an email. I'm trying to find the one I put in the folder, but the folder is gone!
Zigzag Stampede
So I was still thinking an email she put in a folder. I again asked her what it was about.

Eventually she got annoyed and said: I'm not talking about emails! I'm trying to find my desktop folder!!!

Zigzag Stampede
I explained she was in her emails and showed her the button that brings up her file folders.

Yup, seen it before. It's a weird older folks using computers thing. Idk why.
