hi friends today I had the uniquely harrowing experience of having a fish bone get lodged in my throat. how was your Saturday?

i have no experience with fish bones since i don't eat fish but is your stomach/digestive system gonna be ok?

snips : googling tells me it should be fine. like. a very small chance it could cause issues further down but it was actually a decently large bone so I feel that possibly that means it will just stick in the stomach until my acids are done with it

like. not a rib bone, i had a fish head for dinner so it was. a decent sized bone

i've had the fish bone problem like 3-4 times in my life and all times it didn't cause issues once it got out of the throat, so there is that

yeah my cursory googling is telling me if you get it down then it's pretty much fine except in very rare cases
