hey I lost my car keys doing yard work. please [REDACTED] me

they were in the kangaroo pocket of my hoodie and then 10 minutes of bending over and picking up brush from all over my entire yard later, they were gone

so I really would like my life to end now if that's ok with y'all

I do not have a spare car key, they were only in my pocket because my garage key is on that same keychain, and my bestie is bringing me one of those big shop roller magnet things to see if we can find it that way.

but we're bleeding daylight and she lives like half an hour away.

also there is a nonzero chance it's in the yard waste bin which I would have to entirely empty and go through stick by stick to find them if so.

not finding them is not an option I have been on my knees going inch by inch through my yard for the last hour.

this is what most of my yard looks like ftr.

my bestie's mom is gonna let us borrow her metal detector tomorrow so in the meanwhile I am going to drink a ton of beers and eat some leftover pizza and hopefully maybe stop crying at some point idk.

update $325 later i now have a new key and a spare in case of this shit happening again. still have not found the originals, probably never will
