Doctor Who: Dimensions In Time - 1993 Children In Ne...
I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be bad, but I'm curious to see HOW bad it is.

[Doctor Who] making this a separate Plurk so that people don't get spoiled on the new episode. I'm going to watch Dimensions in Time:

Jon Pertwee looks like he hasn't aged a day in 20 years in this opening.

megadoomer
It's in 3D - this is going to be silly.

I cracked up laughing at the idea that viewers can influence the outcome, because my brain immediately went to a clip from Futurama:
Futurama - Tedious Paperwork

On the other hand, Tom Baker's visibly much older.

"She hates me. She even hates children!"

Ace adjusted pretty quickly to the Doctor becoming an entirely different person.

megadoomer
Not sure what's going on with Ace being replaced by Mel. (well, aside from the real world reason to bring back as many Doctors and companions as possible)

megadoomer
I like that Elizabeth Sladen got to work with Jon Pertwee again.

megadoomer
"Release the specimens!" (a.k.a. "we need some kind of sci-fi monsters in here to keep things interesting!")

megadoomer
I find it funny that, among the Cybermen and Ogrons, there's just a Time Lord in full formal regalia with a gun. (I get that it's a stazer, but it's still funny to see)

megadoomer
Not sure who Mandy and Big Ron are. (though maybe they're just random people)

megadoomer
Kate O'Mara's acting when the weapon was shot out of her hand was hilariously bad.

megadoomer
Nice to see the Brigadier! (and I wasn't aware that Colin Baker got any televised appearances with Nicholas Courtney, so that's nice to see - I know they had at least one Big Finish story together)

megadoomer
I'm losing track of which companions are involved.

megadoomer
And K9 made a cameo from the sounds of it.

megadoomer
Well, that was cheesy and hard to follow. Still, it's nice that a bunch of cast members from the classic era got to have a little reunion and raise money for charity.

Looking into it, Caroline John as Liz Shaw and Louise Jameson as Leela showed up, though I didn't recognize them. (and it took me a while to recognize Lalla Ward)
