WE will be milking the cows and working in the factory assembly lines for the same price they pay slave workers in China - just as soon as they squeeze us hard enough and long enough that we will gladly accept anything for some medicine and some potato soup and a bit of coal for the furnace.

If they take away the immigrants, take away medicare/medicaid, social security and tank the economy so that inflation makes it impossible to survive, we will agree to whatever they offer us as a replacement. WE will be the new factory and farm workers, or more likely, our kids. WE will just basically die.

FWIW, I think few dairy cows are milked by hand anymore at farms intending to make money - there's machinery for it that's far more efficient and sanitary.

sure, but someone needs to prep the cow and put on and take off the milking machine. and cows are creatures of habit, so it needs to be a consistent someone for best results.

I've seen a milk cow jump a three-foot fence because the farmer was on vacation and she didn't like the neighbor who came in for a week to help out.
