Norway had a number of ones that I really liked. 2009, 2010, 2011 was a really strong stretch imo. 2022 was very memorable, wahtever else you might say

Was Secret Garden popular before Eurovision? Since non-Eurovision propularity usually doesn't translate well to points

My big problem with Tix is the kind of songs he writes.

So, in Norway we have russ. it is basically when you are done with highschool it is a few months of drinking and partying. And spending so much money. And it is so much about who are the cool kids and shit like that. And there is a lot of SA as well. And he writes almost exclusively songs for russ

I know the reception to their qualification was mixed, but I have been following Gåte since my first year at uni in 2007, and I was so excited when I heard they were putting a song forward. They did not deserve to come last last year

our problem with Tix was, iirc, that the song particularly in combination with the music video was like... weird stalkerish not letting go of someone who moved on

Subwoolfer is unironically one of my favourite things to come out of Eurovision. (Keiino too, but I feel like that's less of a hot take)

I can't remember details but we found it deeply uncomfortable
