I'm looking at that "meow broken" little cat and hoping she doesnt turn out like Randy.
who was silent for like the first month we had him, yelling mouth wide open no noise

Opal's meow is how one of my cats used to "sound". Just a full body contraction like an invisible person was squeezing her and then an unvoiced "eh"

odysseus does the silent meow thing sometimes

usually at breakfast when he's begging for us to go faster

and my housemate makes fun of him and asks "oh, are you so weak from hunger you can't even speak now?"

because, of course, every morning he is trying to tell us that he has never been fed in his entire life

we brought Randy home and we were like "oh no! he doesnt know how to talk! that's so cute!"
and now he doesnt know how to shut up. Or is unwilling to. Either way.
