[Doctor Who] starting "The Story and the Engine"

The cold open already puts this episode off to a good start.

"2019 - a great year!" ...uh, not so sure about that. (then again, I can't recall when the Flux took place in-universe - maybe that was 2020)

The Doctor's attempts at getting something to appear would have ended extremely poorly if they had actually worked. (seeing as he said "Dalek, Cyberman, Weeping Angel" and any image of a Weeping Angel becomes a Weeping Angel)

It seems kind of hypocritical for the Doctor to claim that someone known as "The Barber" is hiding his identity like a coward.

The Doctor watched all the Marvel movies up to Endgame - guessing he skipped out on the TV/streaming shows or else he would have been a little confused once he got to Jessica Jones. (Christopher Eccleston was in Thor 2, but he had so much make-up/prosthetics on that he'd be unrecognizable)

Wasn't expecting a past Doctor to make a cameo. (with a line of dialogue that basically screams "this will be covered in Big Finish, a novel, or a comic")

The Doctor claiming "my body is like a barbershop. All of [his past incarnations] inside - telling their stories, bickering" has me picturing the past Doctors all trying to one-up each other with stories of their own exploits.

"Seven billion lives" seems like an understatement if his intent is to destroy all of the gods. (unless it's just all of the gods who are known on Earth)

There's a shot during the next episode preview that looks like the entire audience of a big live show floating into space, which is a terrifying premise.

I wonder how Belinda immediately knew that the Barber was lying. (though maybe the Doctor told her some of those stories before)
