and now I am wondering if maybe, just maybe, I should consider doing a couple of books like this as promo pieces.

and if that's actually a good idea.

I mean, someday, I want to maybe go to a small convention and have a booth and table and sell copies of my book. Just so I can say I have done it. I can get a booth banner for, like, $50 to hang up there, so...

a hand-made copy of each book would be, I think, really cool to have on the table as another thing to draw the eye.

90% of what I need I can get on Amazon, and goddamn it the local Tandy Leather closed at the same time as the next-door Jo-Ann I can mail order the rest.

Yeah, I miss Tandy. My local store closed ages ago. Damned if I'm going all the way to Atlanta. Dunno where my brother gets his leather, if he's still tooling it as a hobby. He's an OTR driver with more options available to him.
