Jedao One was born Garach Jedao Shkan and then became Shuos Jedao after graduating Shuos academy

in canon people just call him Jedao but he mentally starts calling himself Jedao Two and Shuos Jedao as Jedao One in the sequel novella, because He Doesn't Want To Be That Guy Who Did The Mass Murders, Even If The Treason Was Necessary and it's a stubborn assertion of his own identity

he does not want to be Shuos Jedao because he didn't graduate, and he doesn't even remember J1's family or their name

so he's super duper invested in having Cho Jedao as his married name now :3

Zhao Yunlan and Shen Wei (who each knew both of them, ZYL was J1's permanent wardent) call them Lao Jedao and Xiao Jedao respectfully

and J1 calls J2 Jed'ika, because 'ika is a diminutive in Mando'a, and J1 married Fives from the Clone Wars

*he didn't graduate = J2 didn't graduate FROM SHUOS ACADEMY, he has no officially earned rank in the Shuos
