everything is so fucked

people are fucking evil and frustrating

I'm just so tired

maybe this is just my own funk talking but I'm starting to think that most people when given the choice between letting other people die or admit they are wrong they will choose the former

only variable is how much denial they will engage in over the fact that they chose to let someone die over admitting they were wrong

I think our species is really cooked

I think the problem is our capacity to believe in things to the point where we shut out conflicting information

that seems to be the common thread behind the rank and file the enable atrocities throughout history

whether that's a religion or philosophy or what

even when the atrocities go 100% against the core of the belief system you are using to justify the atrocity

like it makes sense that people that believe in like fascism or capitalism are willing to kill others for their beliefs but history also has people using shit like communism, Buddhism, etc. to justify some awful shit and its just like man you really lost the lot there bud

I'm not even going to go into where I think Abrahamic religions fall in that spectrum
