Thunderbolts* spoiler thoughts

Non spoiler: films great. Something about an ensemble with genuine chemistry is when you realize whats been sorely missing in the MCU.

Total spoiler: Taskmaster very much bites it and is even stripped for loot by the others. Like 10min into the film.

Guess we doin the numerous Avengers thing. Holding out hope for a West Coast Avengers.

Sentry/Void was handled quite good. How they defeated The Void by technically group hugging Bob was nice.

Even the origin of the Thunderbolts name was super cute. But yeah, New Avengers now.

Had to explain to the wife about the quasi rumor that Perdo is in yet another role where he bites it. She sadz again. Lolz.

what was with the asterisk?

Autobot Abubot : the asterisk is not referenced in the film. and they literally only ununanimously held the Thunderbolts name for at least a few hours before they are deemed The New Avengers in the end.

the one big thing that took me out was how much Lewis Pullman looked like his dad when he stepped out in that Sentry costume!

That everyone pushing back the wall was the rotating Avengers moment for me, and Jam had to ruin that moment by saying "pano kung may tao pala sa kabiliang side nung wall?"

I didn't know about this New Avengers thing, and even before I caught the score, ang galing. Yung paisa isa silang may bida moment leading up to the 5 of them working together had the same spirit as the OG Avengers movie moment. Succhhhh a good callback. Galing galing.

Jewel : their cammaraderie felt much more earned compared to the OG
