can someone tell me it's okay to spend money on something small and frivolous rn. I know it's financially fine with my bank account and morally fine and everything intellectually I just need to hear it from another person before I pull the trigger.

no it's necessary, I need to throw out like a ton of my old dried-up nail polish and replace it with some I'm actually going to use. most of the stuff in my drawer is like... 10 years old

because it's all from before I worked at the funeral home when they wouldn't let us wear anything but pink or red or nudes and so anything that isn't that is at least 8 years old

so I need like new summery colors I'll actually wear instead of 15 dark fall colors and three shades of boring pink cremes
