Obligatory THERE ARE TOO MANY THINGS TO WATCH AND I CAN'T KEEP UP. Tenfold if you also enjoy watching/listening to recap YouTube or podcasts.

“I have no time to watch new shows but spend 2 hours on clips I’ve seen 10 times before” is my mantra
Marco
][\/][ : I am far more consistent with YouTube than any tv show now.

Been feeling this way for a few years now so i had to cut back only to realize that i am still watching too many shows and movies

Also, I sometimes just browse thumbnails on Youtube (like in Netflix) and just be satisfied with that

Mas nafeel ko 'to nung dumami silang weekly. I don't watch a lot of shows but there's something about weekly drops that add to the pressure of needing to catch up???

ESPECIALLY when it's super hyped like TLOU or Severance where if you don't watch it the moment it's out, wala na, naspoil ka na.
Jewel
][\/][ : hahahha we've had nights at home na we end up just doing this exactly. the streaming-era equivalent of channel surfing, browsing Netflix/Disney/whatever, watching trailers and stuff lang tapos wala rin

Jewel : Kurik. Sadyang hanggang browse na lang ng palabas ang energy level ko. Hindi man lang umabot sa point na ipeplay mo yung palabas.
Marco
Jewel : Totes. Overall it just feels overwhelming on both ends where were just experiencing constant once in a lifetime occurrences and now our entertainment distractions are starting to feel a tad suffocating.
Jewel
Marco : omg I feel you. we consume news, media, 24/7. pls remember to disconnect from time to time! i feel like we need more of that. and it's a more conscious effort now too.

Sometimes I just skip the shows and just watch the YouTube explainers at 3x speed. Sometimes I just skip to the end of the "Ending Explained" videos.

For me it's more of forgetting some of the shows that I've been watching. Umpisahan tapos biglang halfway through the season matatabunan ng ibang shows hanggang sa makalimutan na.
