Both are run by strange and shadowy figures.

Both have as their stated goal to make you appreciate your life more by pointing out your flaws and making you face them.

Both have people who get into your life and deliberately fuck with you.

One of them looks like it wants to drive you to suicide if you do it right, and the other results in homicide if you don't do it right.
