so i have a problem called morton's foot which i found out from this tumblr post and this post is right, you can buy the insoles from this site and bam! problem solved! you can even see my enthusiastic tags on the post
i have been strugglign with leg pain at the end of the day for like three or four years now - it got worse during covid, of course, or maybe my new job just meant i was standing more than i had at my previous job (same job, much shorter shift,)
and after tons of physical therapy and medication (tylenol/ibprofen usually touched the pain, but like, when you start having to take it every night to stop hurting to fall asleep EVERY NIGHT for MONTHS ON END well) nothing was working so when i saw this tumblr post i was like fuck it you know
so i tried the moleskin and i did see an improvement - that my pain was less, if not completely iradicated, so i was like, sure, okay. with that in mind, i'll definitely try out the 90 day money back guarantee insoles that are meant to last for 18 months
and it was in fact LIFE CHANGING how within a month i was just pain free. even my back pain - which had gotten worse in teh last year - was going away, even after all the physical therapy (treating hte symptoms and not hte cause) hadn't touched it
im about 100 days out, lads, and i'm starting to suspect that either i have been too rough on them (wearing down past the point of helping) or that something else is wrong
maybe its the waether (its been really humid this past week and we have a storm that's threatening but won't break) or the barometric pressure (i really gotta figure out how to note that vs my pain for science)
but today i was on my feet all day and it hurt. and maybe thats because it was all day. the insoles had roughly improved my tolerance for standing from 20 minutes before pain to 2 hours before pain - though i made a note on that tumblr post that i had no upper limit at all, but it might've been an exaggeration
and if i'm having trouble being creative because the chronic pain is back, that's annoying, especially since i DID have a fix for it, but WHY did the thing htat promised 12-18 months of use for regular daily wear give out huh.....
1) is it the weather 2) do i need more support? 3) is it my shoes actually? i'm not using a type that they recommend to use and the shoes are 2+ years old
(the shoe thing is - according to mortonsfoot dot com which not only sells you insoles but also has a lot of research posted as resources - most modern shoes have excess cusshioning to relieve teh symptoms rather than address the problem. so. spending less money on new shoes than lots of money on insoles might make more sense....)
I'll also add that before I started buying Brooks shoes over New Balance, I wore insoles that would last roughly a few months like yours did. most insoles are said to last up to 12 but I think that's w relatively low use bc I've never had em last that long ever, lol
I can google those keywords tho so maybe I should just. I'm like does this mean converse are a smart option or could/should I get a simple sports shoe.

- keep track of weather re pain
- compose email asking "hey, can i have some advice about your product"
