my first journal was SINA my history before that was entirely on Furcadia from about 2002 to 20...13? I played only OCs there too.

in a highly dramatic Harry Potter game to start with (although I met ragweed at a Weiß Kreuz RP and had no idea what it was or what was going on and she thought I was annoying)

and then for many years in an ADMITTEDLY FURRY little village RP where I played the extremely not okay night watchman and some other guys. Benedict and Teren both originated there

I stopped cold turkey when I went insane in grad school

the deep cut is that before all that my very VERY first RP was on an e-wrestling forum run by college kids where we all played cartoon characters. who. e-wrestled. I was the champion for a while at the tender age of 13 or 14 or something. my character was a cat girl who I did not realize would have been a sex symbol from anyone else

how does one e-wrestle

so

every month you get matched up with an opponent

you and your opponent both write three little stories that explain how you're training for the fight, what's your gimmick this time, maybe you talk a little trash like a tv promo (which I didn't find out until actually watching wrestling well into my twenties)

then someone gets assigned to write your fightthis can be anyone who volunteered to help, I did it a bunch and they write two endings, with a win for each character, and the mods go through what you wrote and pick who the winner is

and all the fights get posted in one big digest so eveyrone kinda reads it together like it's live tv
