Recovery from the ablation is going great, textbook even. The hardest part is sticking to limits with how much I can lift and do, before cramps start

My 'curly' journey has progressed wonderfully! Except it's more waves than curls. It varies between 2c and 3b, but more importantly, it's showing closer to the root

which is great because that means the hair is strong enough to maintain it's shape despite the length and weight pulling at it

is this why my hair was mostly down over zkk? maaaybe. I'm also working on getting past some sensory things, so I can enjoy my hair in other ways

All I typically do is shampoo with rice water in it, and use a little leave-in conditioner. Air dry, then wear a bonnet at night (single layer when running warm, double-layer when chilly)
