i also had like a huge daemon phase in general and it was cringe and embarrassing but made me interested in psychology lol

A Dance with Dragons! i have never actually managed to fully get through the books before now so last year i decided to finally do that

i think i finished ACOK on two different attempts and then got distracted by something

omg i think about this book all the time lol i should read it again

basically this weird alien symbiote THING lands on earth and starts spreading all over the global south and literally changing the landscape and the people and it's just weird and interesting and my imagination likes to live in the world it creates lol

it has like 3 books in a series and some of the later stuff kinds gets a little out there (literally) in terms of trying to convey the alienness of things but also some interesting worldbuilding in like
the ways this would affect things globally
idk it was just fun

also there is a particular brand of african beer that is like important to one of the characters but i thought they made it up for the story and then i found it at like total wine

so i just own a random bottle of tusker beer

lol modern because i'm dumb and have a short attention span and modern stuff tends to have the specific weird themes i'm into
