Me (a naive fool who just finished Daybreak 2 (again): WELP. Guess I can wait for Kai no Kiseki next year

We are officially caught up with Japan

I was 100% ready for this to come out next year

This AND the Sky remake next year

This is insane

"Beyond the Horizon" is a really good name too

But since this is fall, I guess I can end this year with this game unless something completely blindsides me

That's SUCH a good name

It manages to capture the Japanese title without the subtitle very well I think

I also think this might be the best trailer this game has had, I don't think I remember seeing one paced like this from Falcom for Kai?

I love the bit where it cuts to the truck and the song is drowned out lol

I thought my computer audio glitched out there

I was very curious what they'd localize the Japanese title into and this was a very strong choice considering how the story goes

We might seriously see a worldwide release for Trails games in this day and age... It suddenly doesn't feel like a distant dream anymore

Also Ys vs. Trails this year too... That's four Trails games in one year

I'm only on Daybreak 1, but seeing this trailer reminded me that Hermes is actually really important which is REALLY FUNNY when you're still on Daybreak 1

She does even more in Daybreak 2 too. The fact that it takes two games for her to take off her helmet is hilarious

But then again, this series LOVES mysterious masked characters who turn out to be a big deal

yeah it's just funny she's just a glorified shop keeper in Daybreak 1

glad I have like half a year to get around to daybreak 2 at least

figured I'd have until next year as well but welp lmao

Daybreak 2 isn't as long as 1, so you can do it!

It can feel long since the story really drags at some points
