Its that everything evolves so late, which is a problem because I like evolving my little guys. But that also means I am overleveled for where I tend to be in the story because of what evo stage I feel like pokemon should be for that point in the story

Oh yeah, like the leveling complaint is an all me problem, because I feel like the first two gyms should be at stage one evo, 3-6 middle and 7 + 8 end if they are a three stage. But also. that means its very easy for me to over level
me, at all of sword and shield: i literally have not done any grinding at all i have just sprinted through the route and fought the forced (trainer) encounters why am i so much higher level than the gyms
re: larvesta, you see when I play the second game of a set I custom breed a team, or I did until scarvi. So it doesn't matter that you won't find larvesta, I bred one and traded the egg and then ah. I cannot use this as my flyer for 90% of the game.
