Exactly! Like, sandblasting is powerwashing but specifically for paint. You'd have to choose the right sandblasting medium for your job. Like, if it's old opt for walnut shells instead of actual sand... That kind of thing.

The Child and I regularly chill out together and watch the toy restoration vids, and our mutual "Aw, yeah, now the sandblasting!" enthusiasm very much asmuses Saint.

BUT SERIOUSLY, I would play a Sandblast Simulator.

See, make it like. Restoration Sim, maybe? So you could also do powdercoating on the metals and new lacquer on the wood...

And rust!

My experience with sandblasting is trying to get stubborn pieces of mold off metal castings or surface finish prior to a patina.

At least as a game you don't need to have a good respirator...
