I have this Alistair headcanon. That in a modern setting? He's not a headphones guy, but he will do earbuds in public. Everybody expects him to be listening to like. Top 40 and such, but instead he's 100% sunny smile, happy jamming down the street to screaming guitar metal.

(Also he used to listen to the same stuff when he was in the military. It's part of what kept him sane.)
