when ur coworker walks in on u bumping ur head on a shelf and feels bad so she orders u a bagel for breakfast 🥰

so yesterday I went to my bestie's for dinner and a movie with our other bestie Nikki, movie and food were awesome and it was really great to hang with them

but they told me my friend Dana had been diagnosed with stage 2 rectal cancer so that sucks.

Dana had been having GI issues for like a year so on the one hand we're glad to have a diagnosis and a way forward with treatment now but like. we're all stressed for her

she's also otherwise our healthiest friend, like she and her husband run marathons for fun, they love to travel and go hiking together

so it feels especially unfair
