( 7 ) How much formal education has your character had? How does this compare to the average citizen of their homeland? Did they enjoy their education or was it a struggle? - LMAO ZERO

I low key tend to assume he zoom class audited some classes while he was a Spy College Professor under house arrest

but that's pure headcanon

it seems like the average citizen in the heptarchate does get roughly the space equivalent of k-12

and then you can go on to Evil Space Civil Service Or Military College

but thats a smaller fraction of the population overall

( 9 ) Does your character speak any languages other than their native tongue(s)? If so, where did they learn it/them? Do they use it regularly? - he speaks High Language (the language of Space Empire) and barge-magically, English

I do think he would understand Shparoi, J1's native language, if he heard it, but he doesn't know he knows it

and he's been learning Mando'a in the library because he has plans to go to J1's version of the Star Wars universe post-barge

( 10 ) Does your character act differently around strangers than they do around friends? Do they act differently around people from their native country or hometown than they do around people from elsewhere? If so, how dramatic is the difference?

between strangers and friends is a more subtle difference

with strangers his default is Quietly Helpful and Empathetic Without Opening Up Himself At All, But Subtle About It

with a certain degree of Matching Energy with his interlocutor

with his friends he's much more earnest most of the time

but around people from his native world he's insane and paranoid and does not want them!!! to be here!!

4, 6 Jedao

( 4 ) What are your character’s political beliefs? If your character is from a fictional world, are there political parties or groups that share these beliefs? - torture is bad. highly stratified semi-meritocratic space imperialism is probably fine, though. definitely better than whatever earth has going on

( 6 ) How does your character feel about their culture’s mythology and/or legends? Do they enjoy learning about them? Or do they find them boring? - Jedao is, slightly in spit of himself, VERY into the faction symbology

I am insane about the LACK of mythology in MoE tbh

so I make up bits and pieces and references a lot because a culture seems horrifically incomplete without them

in some ways that's part of the horror of MoE - the way their culture is mutilated around the pragmatics of the calendar

but also there just. HAVE to be stories
