[COVID] happy plagueiversary, everyone!

shout out to the documentary I watched post pandemic but was made pre pandemic that said there was likely another plague of mass scale due for humanity soon and corona was in the suspect pool for likely canditates.

Yuuup. When I was at the College of Respiratory Therapists, they did a bunch of planning exercises on what to do if there was a flu variant that needed respirator back-up and we were all 'ha ha, haaaa, wouldn't that be wild, glad that's not coming any time soon'.

That was in March 2019.

a friend and I were having a conversation in 2017 or something that ws from a historical perspective that went along the lines of "man humanity has never reached this level of globalisation without a plague or something causing a mass collapse of empires and civilisations,,,,, ANYWAY.
