[PKMN] The funniest thing that could possibly happen, in my point of view, is the next gen games be entirely doubles battle focused/based, but the official tournaments are done in singles format only

Listen, I understand why official tournaments are done in doubles (singles battles between high level players take about 10 years to do, also switching is not fun for casual audiences to watch)

but it's always so funny to me that the official competitive format is done in a battle mode that is barely touched in the games

but yeah I get it no one wants to watch entry hazard spam

voltturn is boring

Pokemon is not a good spectator sport, honestly
