In response to the tariff war initiated by Herbert Hoover in 1930, many countries reacted by adopting similar policies and imposing their own tariffs. This led to a dramatic decline in international trade, further deepening the global recession. By 1931, global trade had decreased by nearly 66%.

Asking for fair play for USA is reasonable. Other countries responding like illogical toddlers throwing tantrums makes it look like a war.

Many of us will endure a little pain to right the wrongs inflicted on the USA.
